PTC Coolant Heater Main functions

Cooling batteries: Electric vehicle batteries generate heat during charging and discharging. Electronic water pumps circulate coolant to remove the heat generated by the batteries, keep the batteries within the optimal operating temperature range, and extend battery life.

Cooling motors and controllers: Motors and controllers also generate a lot of heat during operation. Electronic water pumps ensure that the temperature of these components does not exceed the safety threshold to ensure their stable operation.

Auxiliary function of the heating system: In some cases, electronic water pumps can also participate in the vehicle's heating system to help distribute heat and improve the comfort inside the vehicle.

NF 6KW PTC Coolant Heater for Vehicle  is suitable for electric / hybrid / fuel cell vehicles and is mainly used as the main heat source for temperature regulation in the vehicle. The PTC electric heater is applicable to both vehicle driving mode and parking mode. In the heating process, electric energy is effectively converted into heat energy by PTC components. Therefore, this product has faster heating effect than internal combustion engine. At t he same time, it can also be used for battery temperature regulation (heating to working temperature) and fuel cell starting load.
