1. Product overview
Welcome to NF PTC coolant heater. PTC coolant heater is an electric heater that heats antifreeze with electricity as energy source and provides heat source for passenger cars.
The heating device uses PTC semiconductor (positive temperature coefficient thermistor), and the shell is made of aluminum alloy precision casting, with Excellent anti-dry, anti-interference, anti-collision, explosion-proof performance, safe and reliable, trustworthy.
2. Product application
This product is a liquid heater, specially designed for pure electric buses. PTC coolant heaters rely on on-board power to provide heat for pure electric buses. The rated voltage of the product is 600V and the power is 20KW, which can be adapted to various pure electric bus models. The heating power is strong, providing sufficient and sufficient heat, providing a comfortable driving environment for drivers and passengers, and can also be used as a heat source for battery heating.
This product can be used alone to replace traditional oil-fired liquid heaters to achieve complete energy saving, emission reduction and cost reduction. In extremely cold areas, considering the lack of electricity, it can assist the use of traditional oil-fired liquid heaters. The use method is to connect the pure electric heater and the oil-fired heater in series, and confirm whether it is necessary to increase the water pump according to the actual demand to improve the circulation efficiency.

Installation and vehicle requirements
The high voltage coolant heater assembly has 4 φ4.45 installation holes, which are provided for vehicle or bracket installation. The installation torque is recommended to be 5N±1; it uses φ19 standard water pipes, and the specifications are as shown below. The installation structure and quantitative data are shown in the three-dimensional digital model and two-dimensional drawings.
The high voltage coolant heater assembly has one M6 stud for connecting the vehicle ground wire. It is recommended to use an M6 nut to fix the ground wire harness to the ground screw. The recommended nut tightening torque is: ≤9Nm.
Vehicle electrical requirements
A. Overvoltage protection: The entire vehicle needs to have an overvoltage and undervoltage power supply shutdown function.
B. Short-circuit current: It is recommended that special fuses be arranged in the high-voltage circuit of the heater to protect the heater and high-voltage circuit related parts.
C. The entire vehicle system needs to ensure a reliable insulation monitoring system and insulation fault handling mechanism.
D. High voltage wire harness interlock function.
E. Ensure that the positive and negative poles of the high-voltage power supply cannot be connected reversely.
